Solution
1. Download and review the readme and pre-requisites for Patch 8510589.2. Ensure that you have taken a backup of your system before applying the recommended patch.
3. Apply the patch in a test environment.
4. Confirm the following file versions:
INVPAG2B.pls 120.24.12010000.4
You can use the commands like the following:
strings -a $INV_TOP/INVPAG2B.plx |grep '$Header'
5. Please be sure all the data loaded in the MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE MSII is valid and retest the issue. Invalid data in the MSII can lead to the error reoccurring.
6. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.
